Mark Rylance is widely regarded as the greatest stage actor of his generation. As the Artistic Director of the Globe Theatre, he delivered iconic performances in almost all of Shakespeare‘s greatest plays. Since crossing over into film, he has received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and the BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Rudolf Abel in Bridge of Spies. He is also the winner of two Olivier Awards and three Tony Awards, as well as a BAFTA for his role in The Government Inspector.
