Bid has been working as a freelance Audience Development for the arts since 2008. His aim is to help develop and build relationships between arts organisations and their local communities. Bid has successfully worked with a number of arts organisations, such as Sadler’s Wells Theatre,National Theatre, finger smiths, 20 Stories High, Theatre Royal Stratford East,Eclipse Theatre, Kiln Theatre, DerbyTheatre, Live Theatre Newcastle, Shakespeare Globe, Tiata Fahodzi, AdverseCamber, Hip Hop Shakespeare Company, Mojisola Adebayo, Nottingham LakesideArts, Royal Court Theatre, The Place and Watford Palace Theatre.
His speciality is grassroots audience development, researching, collating database, making contact and meeting with the targeted local groups and organisations; then working with arts organisation to implement a marketing strategy to develop the engagement of those groups and organisations.
